My hubby and I are going camping next week. And when I went to look for bug repellent for my daughter who is 9 months old I could not find any! Does anyone know of a good repellent that a baby can use that i could go and pickup after work?

DEET is the most effect insect repellant and it's safe for babies over 2 months.  it might not be wise to use it all the time, but i would certainly use it in a high risk situation like camping with an infant.

  2. Bounce Drier sheets.  Get the unscented kind and rub them on her.  Seriously!  I am one of those people insects attack, and bounce works better than 90% of the repellants out there.  My pediatrician said it was ok for my babies after 6 months old.

Also babies r us sells one that is a bunch of oils that is baby safe, but it is very stinky and messy and sticky.

I have always used bounce and my children have never had a bite.

I should add that ANY BOUNCE dryer sheet works, I just said unscented because why add the extra chemicals.

  3. YES! I do know about it. Here at my local walmart you can pick up little bracelets they keep the bugs away for babies, i bought them for my grand baby and i put them around her ankles. they work great! Have fun camping!
