  1. you should call the doctors if you think something is wrong with him

    good luck!!:)

  2. With babies under a yr old sick is life threatening.

if don't have $ get to a clinic. VERY IMPORTANT!!!

that child's life can be in your hands. if you don't go and the worst happens it can be neglect

    BAD STUFF!!!

    Get that babe checked out

hospitals have a sliding scale so if you are hard up on $ the can write you off. you can get help for FREE don't be afraid to ask for financial help when your there though. You don't ask they wont give it to you.

  3. Sounds to me like he is just constipated. A slight fever can be a side effect of constipation. If your bottle-fed baby is constipated, you may need to experiment with different formulas. You can also give your breast- or bottle-fed baby small amounts of diluted prune juice to soften stool. I recommend giving your baby a mixture of one teaspoon brown sugar to two ounces of formula or water. It's a very safe and effective stool softener. If none of this helps then take him to the doctor right away. Good Luck!

  4. Doctor!

  5. Go to the doctor...yahoo answers is a pretty dumb place to seek medical care for a baby

  6. A lot of parents may recommend prune juice, but this takes time to work. For an immediate fix to this problem, I recommend an Infant Suppository. They are sold in all stores. You place it in his r****m and he will have relief within 15 minutes to a half hour. I have done this a few times to each of my kids, it works WONDERS. I actually would hold it half way in instead of inserting it and leaving it.

If he is really warm, does he have a fever? If it is over 104, I would call the Doctor. If not, try giving him a cool (not cold) bath to bring the fever down. He may just have a touch of the stomach virus.

But most of all, he may just want his mommy or daddy to snuggle him. Works wonders for these little guys!  Hope this helps.

  7. take him to a doctor :D that is what they are for

  8. I REALLY recommend you take him to the doctor. And put a cold towel on top of his head. =]

  9. is he teething? the pain from the new baby-teeth usually causes body temp to rise. small amount of orange can relieve constipation. too much orange and he baby will have a running bowel.

  10. Tell him to hold it, he'll burst through your v****a any time now.

  11. Tylenol or Motrin work for fever, but watch his temp CLOSELY. A little one's temperature can sky rocket in a matter of minutes. As for the constipation, try getting him to drink juice, and if he doesn't get any better then take him to the doctor. As long as his temp stays at or below 101 I wouldn't be real concerned yet. Sometimes when you take your child to the doctor they prescribe them medicine they don't really need just to make the parents happy.

  12. I agree for the other one^^^

  13. give him some fruit that will help his constipation. if it is really bad you can get some parsley and olive oil and help him out with the stem of the parsley by inserting it into his a**s. otherwise, dont try to get answers online and take him to the doctor.

  14. Well, yes taking him to the doctor is a good idea.  But I have raised three kids myself and I know that sometimes you kind of want to "wait and see" at least for a little while.

Try giving him some infant tylenol or advil to cool him down.  You can also try having him play in a bathtub where the water is only lukewarm, but not so cold that he sits there and shivers.

Also, if he's constipated, try getting him to eat some applesauce (I mean in the baby food jars, of course) or some other type of fruit, but stay away from the bananas as they can actually plug him up more.  Or as others mentioned to drink some apple juice.

Babies will often get little tummy problems, especially if they are teething which at his age he may be.  Low-grade fevers can also go along with teething.  So, as long as you don't feel it's urgent (most parents can sort of tell) then you may want to try these first before you take him to the doctors.

You can also just call your doctor and talk to the nurse to see what they recommend.

  15. Your son may just be eating too many foods that make you that way( cheese, milk,.....)  I dont think its too serious though.  Try giving him prune juice, if he doesnt like that then try pedialite

  16. You need to take a rectal temp. This will accomplish 2 things...finding out how "warm" he really is and it may stimulate his bowels to make him p**p. If the temp is higher than say 101, you should call the on call doctor and he/she will be able to tell you if giving tylenol is ok and how much to give.

Also give him apple juice (this is also supposed to make babies poopie). Schedule an appt with the doc...ask if giving prune juice is ok at this age? This is a sure fire pooper! I hope everything works out ok. Good luck and God bless!

  17. take is temp to make sure he doesnt have a feaver.. you can give him karo syurp in his bottle 1 tbs to every 4 oz  i would call the doc to

  19. You could try a  baby e***a and children's/infant's Tylenol / Motrin. Or whats called a 'soap e***a'.  This is what you'll need for the soap e***a:

    - Original Johnson Baby soap,

    - warm water (pretty warm)

    - vasaline

    - roll paper toweles/towels

    - nasel bulb (better known as buger sucker)

Take your baby (naked) and fill a kinda big bowl with warm water and some soap. Swish it around like your gonna give your baby a bath. Fill the bulb with some water from the bowl, and vasaline  the tip and alot on your babys r****m.

Only go in an inch an squeeze. Shield your self because this will work.

  20. Ya, I agree. There's no harm in taking him to the doctor for a checkup just in case. It doesn't sound like its serious yet, but you wouldn't want it to get worse. The doctor will also be able to help you identify what might be wrong and whether or not he needs to take medicine and if so, then which to take. Poor guy- I hope he's feeling better soon!

  21. I STRONGLY SUGGEST TAKING HIM TO THE DOCTOR (ITS WHAT THEYRE THERE FOR!!!)

  22. take no chances with babies. go to doctor but in my opinion it is not a big deal.  maybe a fever, or stomach ache.

  23. Take that baby to see a doctor...Be safe.
