Question:

9 weeks postpartum bleeding?

I went to my postpartum check up today and she said that she is very concerned about me still bleeding and that the only way i can heal is to rest....I have 4 children and resting isn't easy to do, but I know I have no choice at this point...If I don't stop bleeding I have to have a D&C and admitted to the hospital for a week...

I just want to know if anyone has dealt with this, and what happened?

Any suggestions on how I can make resting easier with 4 small kids?

School doesn't start for another week!!!

  1. With 4 kids it is a higher risk because it is so hard to relax.

Can you call your local church for some help?

Or get a friend over for two hours a day so you can rest?

It sounds like you need to have some bed rest fun time.

    I had to do this.

I brought in coloring books and crafts into my room and set it up for my boys to play on the bed with me. And the oldest helped out so much with grabbing more things we had forgot.

My bed was a work station of all forms. A changing table to a kitchen.

I got up in the am and brought in a small cooler for snacks in my room.

    It really helped me out.

I have had a D and C. (And have had a D and E) I did not have to stay in there for a week they sent me right home.

I felt great with in a day.

Hope yours turns out the same.
