9 year old kid told he cant pitch?

Non RHH- I am watching Mike an Mike in the morning and they have a story about this 9 year old kid from Conn. that was told by his little league he was too good at pitching so he cant pitch anymore..he throws 40 mph......talk about parents ruining it for the kids

Really sad. If a kid is good at something, he should be encouraged to do it, not told he can't!

This is like saying to Michael Phelps "Oh sorry but you can't compete it the 2012 Olympics because you are too good at swimming and already won enough golds in Beijing"

That's just crazy!!  He could be a pro someday if they let him keep pitching!  That doesn't even make sense!  If I were the parents I'd have something to say to his little league coach!!!

Yea, I heard about this on Ricky Smiley and I was... a little mad.  How can you tell someone they can't play anymore just cuz they are too good.  That's like a oxymoron.

40 mph is slow.  40-50 mph is average for age group.

Must be something else going on here.  Crazy parents/ coaches maybe?

Both albums suck! If I want to hear an angry man psychotically ranting over decent tracks, I'll pull out the ole DMX collection.
