9 year old stepdaughter

Every time my 9year old step-daughter comes to our house she acts like we are "recreation directors." I constantly hear "what are we going to do now?" "what are we going to do after this?" I finally asked her if she asks these questions when she is at her mom's house and she said no. So I asked her to please stop asking them over at this house then. Its like she wants to be entertained ALL THE TIME, and sometimes we just need to do regular things like cleaning and laundry, run errands, etc. I mean, we aren't the "fun house" in comparison to her moms house. There are responsibilities and fun at both houses. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice on this?

Just ignore her. She can't be entertained constantly. Ask your husband to get her to cut it out. I mean.. it is HIS child, not yours. If you need to tell her she needs to stop it. The world doesn't revolve around her.
