  1. Has she asked you to change it?? she might just want the Peanut butter.. My 8 yr old wants a PB sandwich everyday for school also.. I just change up his snack.. but I grew tired of asking him to change.. So I just leave it alone.. if he gets tired of it I am sure he will ask for a change.. as it might also be the case for you daughter..

  2. try to go slow...try adding jelly (so you dont make a dramatic change)

    ask her what she likes...

if she likes chicken, they sell sandwich chicken, and that's easy to put between bread.

if she likes tacos, gave her taco Lunchables.

on her birthday, if you wanna surprise her, drop off some McDonalds at her school, with a milkshake or a McFlurry.

try adding different deserts and drinks too.

either way, it's great that you;re concerned with your daugter 'cause that means you love her.

    keep it up!

  3. from age 6 to 10, all i would eat for lunch was a peanut butter sandwhich. by age 11, i began to have a little more variation.

  4. Maybe she shouldn't eat sandwiches all the time. Sandwiches get boring after a while. Let her get in the kitchen and make her own creations. Just supervise.

  5. A fluffernutter--it's PB&J but with marshmallow creme instead of jelly.

Soup in a thermos? I liked pastas in mine, my dad would fill it with boiling water to get it hot and then put in spaghetti or fettucini and it was perfect.

  6. That made me laugh, my 9 yr old eats the same thing every day as well. And so does her 7 yr old little sister. They take (obviously cold) quesadilla (only cheese) or a cold grilled cheese sandwich, or cold pizza or just a cheese and mayo sandwich. I buy the Tony's brand of pizza they are only $2.00 at Wal-Mart. And I figure cheese and sauce and dough, is not much different than cheese and bread and mayo except for taste. My youngest also likes cold Pizza Rolls. Or even cheese and crackers. They usually take chips or Goldfish with that as a side, they have no time for anymore food they are lucky if they can scarf that in the little amount of time they are given to eat. And for all the people who will say they need meat they have that for dinner every night, so it is taken care of.

I also love the soup or mac & cheese idea but I have yet to find a Thermos that does not leak, I have bought at least 5 different kinds.

  7. Kid Cuisine

    Lunchables

    Keebler's peanut butter crackers

Some fruit (put it in a plastic baggy)

    Pretzels

    Chex Mix

    Cheetos

    Chips

  8. My daughter always takes ham and mayo sandwich.  She doesn't like cheese.  One time she took peanut butter and marsh mellow.  That didn't work to good.  She opened her lunch and the marsh mellow was all over the baggie.  She wouldn't even eat it.

She is also 9 years old.

    Good Luck

  9. I ate peanut butter everyday my whole entire school year when I was five. Except the whole of twenty-four days a year they served hotdogs. I turned out fine and eventually got tired of it. She will too and then will want to mix it up. Unless she wants to do it I wouldn't force a change on her as long as she is eating healthy at home.

Everyday my sister has an applebutter and peanutbutter sanwich with pretzels, a cookie, and a Capri Sun. Sometimes people just feel better knowing they have a set routine and it never changes.

Try turkey and cheese. Soup in thermos's like the Chef Ravioli things and the Spaghetti-O's. Also, those UnCrustables and the Lunchables are good choices too.

  10. do this slowly she obviously loves peanut butter:

    peanut butter and banana sandwich

    peanut butter and jelly sandwich

    peanut butter cracker sandwichers

the reason to do this slowly is because she wont appreciate you taking away her favorite lunch

  11. Man, I wish my kids wanted the same thing everyday! That would sure make my job easier. I don't think PB&J is that bad - I would make it with whole grain bread, natural Peanut Butter and real fruit jam. Maybe switch out the snacks... nuts one day, baby carrots another, etc.

  12. my son only eats ham sandwiches for lunch my attitude is if he happy eating ham sandwiches leave him why fix whats not broken if she gets fed up of it she will soon tell you til then just leave her be she happy with her choice

  13. if she is happy with it then why change. My son has prettty much the same thing everyday. That is how he likes it

  14. Cucumber sandwiches in whole wheat with dill butter

    That's my favorite.

  15. if she likes it leave her be

  16. Peanutbutter and Jelly sandwich, Tuna salad sandwich, eggsalad, turkey sandwich, cheese sandwich, Mac and Cheese if it stays HOT, Vienna Sausages not from the can, put them in a baggie.  Noodles with butter in a Thermos, Casseroles in a thermos, Chicken noodle soup, Bologna sandwich, Ham Sandwich, Salami or Pastrami sandwich.  Salads with cheese cubes for a snack.  Cheeses and Crackers, not the packaged ones, I mean Saltines and cheese cubes you slice up in baggies.

Their bodies know when they need something different so if thats what she likes, stick with that EVERYDAY!  it's better than cookies and cheetos!

  17. Turkey and cheese wrapped in a tortilla or pita.

    Chicken or tuna salad.

    Peanut butter and banana sandwhich

    Soup

    Grilled Cheese

    there are lots of possibilities!
