90's tv show and i dont know the name?

there was a tv show in the 90's about a family who was going on a trip and traveled back in time or fell into some kind of crack in the earth and was in the prehistoric age and the were dinosaurs and i remember the evil guys were some kind of lizard people. they lived in a really cool tree-house. It was not an animation either

Could it have been Land of the Lost? I used to watch it too, but it wasn't on for very long. The person above me is thinking of Dinosaurs, which was a completely different show and I think used puppets? I hope this is the show- I've been looking for a while because I could NOT remember the name! So I should probably go back to work :)
