90 days notice required to move from my apartment?

Is that when the lease is still in effect? Or does it mean when the lease is up for renewal?

I'm confused....

My apt requires a 90 day notice to move (kinda long if you ask me, who knows whats going on 3 months from now! lol)

But I'm confused as to when that means... is it in the middle of a lease agreement, or when you get a renewal and if you choose to move instead do u have to give 90 days? which is it?

I think it's if you plan to break the lease and if you wanted to move you move by end of lease date, is that correct?

  1. Generally, the notice is required to coincide with your lease expiration.

For example, if your lease were ending October 31, 2008, you would have to give notice on or before August 1st, 2008.

You need to read your lease carefully to be sure.

  2. You need to read in details of your lease and know how long of the lease you signed.  If the term of the lease is a year long, then within that year, you cannot move.  It says require 90 day notice to move mean 90 days before it expire, you need to notify the LL in writing of your moving date.  Or after it expired and you become a month to month, you need to give 90 day notice in writing before moving out, too.

  3. that 90 days may.......just may be, violating

state law.  check with a local RE broker.

IT might be only 60 days notice is required.
