91 Accord Idle problem

My 91 Accord has a standard transmission and when i start the car it idles at 2000 rpm then when i put it into gear the rpms go back to normal, any ideas plz?

  1. The only thing I could think of would be the ICV (idle control valve).  Best bet is to find it, disconnect it and if it continues thats probably the problem.
