I'm about to go to a junkyard to get a fuel pump relay for my 91 accord and wanted to grab the newest one possible from a younger car, what year models would be alright?

  1. 90-93 main relays are the same.  they are located up under the left side of the dash panel roughly behind the coin tray.

they all have a habit of cracking the circuit boards.  The relay is actually two relays in one--one for teh fuel pump one for the ECU.  dependign on where the crack in the circuit board is you lose either the fuel pump or the fuel injectors when the relay goes open circuit.  if you're going junkyard then take the case off of the relay and use a magnifying glass to look at the circuit board.  if its cracked look for another relay

I think you can now get the relay at aftermarket parts stores. the honda relay at a dealership is about $50

    the relays changed in 94.

    hope that helps
