92 Ford E150. Speedometer and Odometer not working.

speedometer is analog and the odometer is digital.

More than likely it is the spped sensor or the gears that drive it.

Go back to the end of trans or transfer case and remove the 11 mm bolt that holds assembly in trans. Check the gear for wear. if worn then replace and reinstall. if gear is ok the replace sender.

The send can be tested by hooking your multimeter to it and look for ac voltage.
