I just replaced my Engine block to my 92 Honda Civic. The old one over heated and I blew the head gasket having coolant In my Oil. I replaced the engine and It starts and runns like new! The only problem is that it runs Hot I Dont want to over Heat It. The hose that runs from the top of the engine to the raidiator is hot but has no pressure to it. I replaced the thermostat too with the new engine. The fan does work too because when I turn on the AC I can hear it. Some one please help I put too much work into this car for it to just blow a head gasket again.

  1. possible bad water pump, if you got a salvage yard engine.  or an internally plugged up radiator.

  2. Did you clean out your radiator when you replaced your engine?  Also, replaced all the hoses?

  3. for about 100. bucks I would replace the radiator and I am sure that your overheating problem will go away, I have a 90 Honda accord and had the same problem except I didn't fry my engine I quit driving it until I found out what the problem was and it was because of the radiator it was plug up on the inside, the guy who had the car before me never flushed the coolant system and it was all plugged up, I changed the radiator and have not had any problems with it since.  I went through all the same channels that you did with sensors and hoses and thermostat and fans and all of that and come to find out it was the radiator the whole time.
