How do I find it? How do I change it? Intermittant engine misfire, spark plugs look okay, new cap and rotor. Wires appear new. Gonna try fuel fix before I R and R the electrical system.

  1. Locate your gas tank, will probably be on the drivers side, look under the vehicle for lines about 1/4" dia. coming out of the tank and start to follow them up the frame. About somewhere under the front or rear side door the fuel filter should be, it's just a cylinder about 2-3" dia. by 4-5" long and should be too hard to replace.  Good luck

  2. THERE SHOULD BE 3 FILERS.. ONE IN THE TANK ON THE PUMP , ONE ON THE FRAME RAIL (VERY VISABLE) AND ONE AT OR NEAR THE ENGNE.  ALL OF WHICH COULD BE BAD SINCE ITS A 93...   TRY TO HAVE THE IGNITION MODULE CHECKED TOO. O R THE COIL ON THE DISTIBUTOR.. ALL OF WHICH COULD BE BAD WITH THE YEAR YOUR DEALING WITH . ITS NOT THE CAR, ITA A LACK OF REGULAR MAINTAINANCE  .. THESE ARE THE THING MOST FREQUENTLY FORGOTTEN.. CHECK THE EGR TOO THE GET "STICKY AND DO THE SAME THING THAT YOU'RE DEALING WITH NOW.         GOOD LUCK
