Im lookin to buy a 93 ford mustang gt convertible from this guy but im really confused. this mustang has around 120k miles on it, and it has a rebuilt engine. this guy says he is the second owner, and bought it from an old man. he has put many cobra parts on it he tells me too. it looks really nice and is a stick shift and is only 3500 dollars. it has a 1600 dollar sound system, really nice rims and alot more. All over the internet i read about how people say how good mustangs are and i love them! but my family and my uncle who is a car salesman say that they are bad and break down. is this true? is a mustang worth it???

  1. a car is going to run as well as its taken care of! that goes for any type of vehicle!  the 5.0L is a tank and can with hold a lot of stress! ford made an good one with this block!  just remember to do all scheduled maintenance and ur pony should run fine!!!!

  2. Fords in general are not the most reliable cars, but a 93 mustang I would not trust getting. Even with a cheap price, after a year of owning it you will find yourself taking days off work to take it to the garage for repair.  And with the money you spent on repairs plus the cost of buying the car, you could have got something newer and built by a better company.  Who cares about the stereo system its got, when that thing leaves you stranded on the side of the road, turning on the volume will not fix your problems.
