94 Honda Civic(sedan,manual trans) vs 99 Chevy Malibu?

I have a chance to get either cars pretty cheap.

Which would you rather have in your driveway for a daily vehicle?

Which one would be easier to work on and cheaper to maintain?

Would insurance be higher than the other car?

Honda Civic.

Better looking, more fun to drive, will last longer even if it has 100,000 miles more than the Malibu.

Better on gas.

But higher insurance than the Malibu.

The Honda would probably get better gas mileage and has less problems.  Do they have a similar number of miles on them?  I would rather have the 99 Chevy if it has the same or less miles than the Honda.  I think the Chevy looks better and it is newer.
