  2. Best way...drive till just WARM..remove all the bolts on the rear cover and pull it off...make SURE you have drain pan under this area!!

    While it si off make sure if you have a limited slip differential or standard. If Limited slip...you can see clutched and not just spider gears, you will need to add a special additive from parts store to prevent clutch chatter.

    Clean old gasket material, replace gasket or put bead of RTV gasket material on cover and reininstall.

    Refill with 90W or similar..unless limited slip and you are in business.

    VERY GOOD Maintenance to do this.

    While you are in there, and if this is standard differential, check spider gears for ware on teeth and on shaft.
