94 mercury villager?

Where is the under the hood light switch or button, to turn on the light under the hood of this kind of van

probably around the steering wheel or somwhere under the hood

..hmmm....94...I believe those were controled by a mercury switch. check the bulb & socket first...the switch would be mounted on or near the socket..when opened the mercury roll,s to one end of the switch making contact to light the lamp..other,s were controled by a pin switch [ like the door jam switch] located near the front of the frame where the hood close,s...good luck!
