i have this mobo and was wondering which is the best gfx card for this i have intel core 2 duo E6550 @2.33 Ghz

  1. No it does not a have a SLI mode. You would have to have a SLI chip set or a Crossfire chip set to run 2 GPU's. But, it does have a PCI-E x16 slot for a good GPU (Graphics card). You can put a number of low to higher end ones in your system as long as your Power Supply can provide enough juice for the higher end cards (28amps+ on the 12v rail) and have a PCI-E 6 pin connector.


  2. Technically I think you can, but you have to use your PCIEx4 slot to do so.  Which means you will run the second card very slowly compared to your first card.  I don't think it would be very good to spend much money on a card to run it .25% of its potential...  Plus you would need the right size SLI bridge for your motherboard, though it might be the same distance not exactly sure about what the standard distance between PCIEx16 slots is vs. your boards x16 to the x4 slot...
