A few months ago my niece called me about her driver's side window not working in her 95 Honda Accord. I stopped over and had a quick look and it seemed that the motor was weak or just failed. So I ordered a new window regulator for her four door. A week later the new motor was installed and worked, although a little slow but the same speed as the other three windows. Then a month ago she calls and says the same thing is happening, so I pull out the regulator to see that the cable pulled out of the window guide. I assumed that is was a faulty part and returned to the auto parts store for a replacement. Now that replacement has failed and before I put in yet another one I want to fix what ever is causing the issue.

  1. the window run channel is likely your problem. it is the rubber that the window is in. when they get distorted they put alot of strain on the motor and regulator. you will need to replace the regulator again and the run channel.
