My 95 nissan almera is cutting out occasionally, there seems to be no pattern to this at all just an intermittent thing, it always starts again straight away and i never lose electrical power when it does this.

  1. have you change the fuel filter or change any plugs have you added any fuel treatment.. all could help .. get some new plugs and change all the filters... its called service or tune up.. so when was the last time you had it done pretty sure thats where the problem is needs a good service

  2. It could be an electrical problem (I am 99% certain it is this). It could be fuel pump or something connected to it - eg relay. The only other thing it could be is breather pipe full of fuel which could be blocked.

    Good luck. h

  3. You may want to consider a complete tune up... Spark plugs, wires, etc. Or, you may also have a fuel system issu,. as well.  Maybe your fuel injectors are plugged, which can cause cut out. Or, you may have a fuel pump that is starting to die. One thing more, your fuel pump relay may also be going... This relay powers up your fuel pump. It could be the fuel pump, itself or the relay as well. Something else to consider would be the fuel pressure regulator.  Another thing still could be your fuel filter. One or more of these items may be your problem. Hope this helps you.
