95 Toyota pickup, cigarette lighter problems?

I have a cigarette lighter that has never worked, I checked the fuse and it is good. I assume the lighter is fried, or the wiring is just bad. Is there a way for me to easily fix this, or should I just take it somewhere?

Generally it's just the socket part itself. The wiring is almost always good. I usually find that one of the wires has fallen off of the back of the socket. Check that first before paying anyone any money.
