  1. 1. Flip down the plastic piece that covers the rear seat belt anchor bolt.
    2. Remove the rear seat belt anchor bolt.  You'll probably need a Tor-x driver for this.
    3. Remove the cargo net anchors and any plastic rivets securing the interior panels.
    4. Remove the interior panel next to the window actuator by carefully pulling it toward the opposite window to release the remaining clips.
    5. Remove cargo compartment covers.
    6. Carefully pull out the top of the interior panel below the window to expose the top of the motor assy and power connector.
    7. Locate the motor connector and disconnect it.
    8. With a voltmeter or circuit tester, check the switch.  Place one lead of tester in one of the contacts of the disconnected cable and ground the other lead to the chassis.  With the ignition switch on press one side of the switch, you should get 12 volts (or a light) if the switch is good.  Be sure to check both contacts in the cable and both sides of the switch (open and close).
    9. If switch is good. remove the two bolts that hold the motor to the chassis and lift the motor assy up over the interior panel.
    10. Remove the three screws that hold the regulator to the motor.  This can be identified by the two cables coming out of it.
    11. Once the regulator is removed from the motor you will be able to close the window.  Make sure it is closed fully.  The linkage attached to the window should "snap" into place around the actuator spindle.  Make sure window stays completely closed during the next step.  Now is a good time to replace the motor if you have time/money.  Or you can just reinstall the old motor which, even though it doesn't work. will hold the window closed.
    12. Reinstall the regulator by aligning the motor gears and regulator gears and the three regulator mounting holes.  Once the gears are engaged it will probably look like the mounting holes won't line up.  Hold the motor with one hand and push the regulator housing in the direction of the cables exiting the housing and rotate the actuator at the same time until the holes line up.  Reinstall the regulator mounting screws.
    13. Reinstall the motor assy to the chassis.  Leave the connector disconnected to avoid inadvertent opening until you have a chance to replace the motor.
    14. Reinstall seat belt anchor and all panels previously removed.
