95 ford windstar bogs when gas pedal is pressed

Fuel pump went in my van, i replaced it and now it idles alright but when i give it some gas it bogs down and has very little power for hill climbing when i put my foot to the floor i hear an occasional popping coming from the engine compartment. a problem because i live up on a mountain. i changed the spark plugs and still the same problem.. any ideas?

check your fuel pressure,,at least 35psi on a stal test,,yes your pump is new but you should still do the pressure test,before you change anything...
