95 skyline tubo lag?

Question

i have a 95 gtst and in 2nd to 5th gear if i accelerate hard enough for the turbo to really kick in the engine lags up and doesnt seem to want to go but as long as i accelerate slow were the turbo doesnt kick in it will redline everytime what could the problem be?

Sounds like a problem with the turbocharger itself.  It could also be a vacuum hose loose.

As always, check your intake filters, etc.
