i am looking at buying a 95 yamaha yzf600. the forks are not straight and in the front of the bike where the forks are covered by the plastic i can put 4 fingers between the plastic and forks and only 2 fingers on the other side. what needs to be done? the gas tank doesnt look like its straight with the frame. couple of the welds have paint chiped and a little rusty. the cover on the case was jb welded. do i buy this bike or not? also he could keep it idleing.

  1. Don't walk, RUN!

Bent forks, tweaked frame, stressed welds, and JB as well.............

that's a bike that should have gone to the scrap yard.

  2. I would not the frame might be tweaked  also

  3. If the welds have paint chipped don't buy it.  Period.  This means that the frame welds have taken stress and they will have lost much of their strength.
