  1. It's been awhile sense in had a brake line replaced , fixing that is the easy part of it all ,,after you replace the line you have to go around all the wheels and bleed the air out of them all.I thank your liking at around 100. to 150. bucks to have it fixed.


  2. With hard brake lines it requires a lot of work. Consider going to a junkyard and getting them from the same year span as your truck. This can save you a few headaches and time. Always use the correct tools like the open boxed wrenches.

  3. You didn't say whether it was the flexable rubber line, or the hard metal one.

    I replaced the rubber one myself and I remember it being under $50.00. Years ago I replaced a hard line on my car. I bought a tube bender and flanger and did it myself. It cost next to nothing after paying for the tools, and they were pretty cheap too. It was a major dirty PITA though.

    I do most of my own wrenching, so I have no idea how much a shop would want for it.
