97 TJ SPort Clutch Squeal

continuing from my previous post from yesterday, i did replace the pressure plate as well, and resurfaced the flywheel with sponge sandpaper used for brakes, however not the pilot bearing which seemed to spin without problems(even greased it a bit)

the input shaft main bearing in the transmission seems like a possibility , another thin i've noticed is that when the car sits overnight or for a long time the squeal doesn't start right away only after about 10 minutes of running the engine.

  1. i just had that problem on my 98 sahara. all i did was re furbish the fly wheel, put a new throwout bearing, replaced the pilot bearing, and the whole clutch, and it fixed ti right up. hope that helps yah. to bad you already took i all apart just to find you did not fix the problem.
