My 1997 chevy astro has had a tune up and a new fuel pump.. .however it still doesn't start. I think maybe it's the ignition coil, because this problem becomes worse whenever it rains. If it is does anyone know how to get to the ingnition coil?

  1. is it turning over with no start? the "dog house"(that's the piece under your center dash, between the driver's side and pass side, inside the van) has to be removed to access the ignition system.

I believe you're heading down the right path. if a vehicle turns over and has no start there are 3 possible issues: fuel (which you have a new pump & filter), fire (ignition system), or timing. being the prob gets worse when it rains points to an ignition issue.good luck.
