  1. buy chev. or ford!   I` m a chev. guy myself.  Why make problems you dont need.. also lots of used parts avail.------ unless, your a landscaper.they like dodges for some reason.

  2. yes it is ,a 97 model for 1200 that's a good deal, just have someone look it over before you buy it,if it runs and drives for that amount though you cant go wrong, even though its high mileage, its still worth it,you know sooner or later you will be having to do some repairs on it ,because higher mileage engines will cause problems, but i got one that's got well over 200 thousand on it and i wouldn't sell it for that little amount,so i think your doing ok on this deal, and with winter coming up ,thats what you,ll need is a good 4 wheel drive, good luck with it.

  3. 1200 bucks isn't too bad, but as always, try and get it for as cheap as you can. Trucks around that year for Dodge had bad balljoint problems. Most of these had the problem, but some did not. Also, the transmissions were bad in these cars, so ask the seller if when the transmission has been replaced. I am sure it already has, but if it hasn't been replaced in the last 60K miles, I wouldn't buy the truck because it would cost over a grand just to replace the tranny. Good luck.
