97 olds delta 88 fuel pump replacement?

Run the gas tank to nearly empty.   Use a pump and gas can to remove and store extra fuel until it is empty.  Take the inj fuse out of the fuse box which will disconnect power to the fuel pump.  Try to start the car which will relieve fuel pressure.   Disconnect the neg post on  the battery.  Jack up the rear of the car.  Remove the fuel tank which will drop down.  Access the fuel lines.  Squeeze the sides together and remove carefully.  Disconnect the power connector.  Clean the area of dirt.  Use a hammer and punch to turn the steal ring around the top.  Have rags handy to mop up fuel.   Do not smoke!  Pull cylindrical pump out and replace with new one.  Reassembly is reverse.
