  1. Remove the Positive+ battery cable and conncect a 12v testlight between the cable and battery positive+. With all doors shut, lights off, etc. the light should not illuminate. If it does then your vehicle has a battery draw somewhere. The easiest way to determine what it is is to pull the fuses one at a time (repl. after pulling so no mix-up of fuses) until the light goes out. This will give you a starting point to trace down the draw. When checking the passenger compartment fuses pull the interior light fuse or else the open door will show a draw and the light will never go out.To be double sure of 0v drain use a multi-meter in the same way as the testlight to assure no draw.

  2. Check that there is no draw. Make sure your glove box, hood, trunk lights all turn off when the lids are closed.

If there's a mickey-mouse after market sound system then that could be your drain too.

  3. How old is the battery? They typically last about 5 years, and then need replacing, have a battery load test preformed on it and it will tell you if your battery is good.Clean your battery posts, and top ,this insures your getting a good connection and there is no added resistance with corrosion build up.You can have your alternator tested to insure the regulator is working and charging your system back up properly. The only other thing is, if you are leaving something on like a light or if theres another source thats taking a added load from the battery.GL
