98 ford windstar transmission?

just recently my van has ben acting up... is woks fine when i start it up in the morningg but once it warms up it downshifts and stays in second gear!!! i took it in 4 months ago and the blew the transmission cooler lines out and changed the filter & fluid. what is the problem ... 1998 ford windstar GL v6 3.8

  1. That's an electronic problem. Take it to a good transmission shop and have them use their diagnostic scanner to read your transmission trouble codes and data.
