  1. Don't ever just pump refrigerant (your car will use 134a) into the system without having it tested for proper pressures, first. You'll need a set of pressure gauges to check the pressures. If you do just pump refrigerant into it without knowing whether it needs it or not, you could overcharge it, and then it still won't work since it will have too much refrigerant in the system.

It could be low on refrigerant, but it could also be a switch or sensor gone bad, or a relay that isn't working correctly. If you don't know how to fix it, take it to a shop to have it properly tested to find the problem and get it fixed.

Even if it is low on refrigerant, the proper thing to do is to find the leak, fix it by replacing whatever is leaking, and then recharge the system. If you add more, it will just leak out again, going into the atmosphere.

  2. I had a similar problem with a Voyager. have the fan relay checked, sound like the cooling fan is not running when AC is on, causing poor colling until air is forced thru condenser at higher road speeds. Good luck.

  3. could be low on freon they cell little kits with a can and a hose with a little guage have someone at the part store show you where to hook it
