98 infiniti i 30 my tape player works but my cd player shows error and i need alarm help?

does anyone know whats wrong with the cd player and i bought it from someone and they only gave me the key i know it has an alarm so i can just buy it off ebay does anyone know how much it will cost to get programmed or do i have to program it

The best way out of your jam is to go to a professional stereo shop in your area.  Trying to get your factory CD player to work and looking to get a remote and programing for your alarm will cause you lots of time and money.  In the end, you would be better off going to a local shop

Basic Ken wood or Pioneer cd player installed ($140-$175)

Basic Viper alarm installed $180

Repair on factory cd player 200-300$ (with no guarantee your 10 year old radio wont break again)

Relace factory remote controls and programing from dealer $80-140 each remote if your alarm is factory.  If not good luck finding the alarm company.
