I am going to upgrade from an evga 8800 gtx. Its starting to struggle a bit with newer games. I would overclock the h**l out of it if the cooler on it didnt suck...i have squeezed every last bit of performance out of it that i can. So now i am considering two different cards, either the 9800 gx2 or the gtx 280. I know how well they perform but does anyone think it is worth the extra money for the gtx 280?? I plan on using quad sli or sli depending on which card i select. Just need a little help to decide. THANKS!!

  1. What resolution you're be playing at? And AA settings?

If you're gonna be playing at resolution higher than 1600x1200 and with 16xAA, then it would be better to get the GTX280. As it has more video memory.

But if you play in 1600x1200 or less, or prefer low amounts of AA, thern the 9800GX2 will be faster.

  2. Your computer is pure buttsecks!!! mhm
