99 Chrysler Town and Country that doesn't read that siding doors are closed?

I have a 99 Chrysler Town and Country and interior lights come on all the time because it doesn't always read that the sliding doors are closed. They have tried to fix it a couple of times, but the problem still continues. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem.

I wonder if they already replaced the sensor, the door pushes on the sensor to open the contacts and the lights go away. if the door is not adjusted right, it will not make good contact with the sensor. Nothing touching the sensor the contacts inside the sensor are touching all the time, and that is why the lights are on.
