99 Honda Civic Hatchback Plate???

Question

Does anyone know what the plastic plate/ guard thing under the engine is called? It looks like it protects the engine and is held on with maybe 4 bolts. Mine half broke off the other day (the plastic cracked and can't be fixed) and is tied onto the front bumper with a shoe lace. I am trying to find the part without going through the dealership because they are always super expensive with stuff. If anyone knows a good place to get one that would be awesome too. Thanks!

that happened to every honda i owned! Go to a salvage yard. I am not sure what it is called but if you explain to the person they will know what you are talking about.

it usually happens when you go over those concrete things when u park, and when u back up it rips it off

honda civics are quite common  got to a local salvage yard they should have what u r looking for
