99 cavalier radio probs?

Question

When I turn my radio on the instrument panel lights up. When I turn the parking lights on the radio sound goes out. If I turn the radio up loud the sound goes out. Have to cycle radio on and off to get it back. Any help appreciated

this wire is a dead wire, thats a hot wire when you turn your lights on ,this wire has no power in it until you turn your lights on,you have it hooked to your deck as a ground,no good,you need a tester to find it

The radio is not wired correctly. Find a professional installer to correct the wiring before you fry the radio.
