99 dodge Neon?? Motor replacment

Question

Ok so i have a 99 neon soch that im getting ready to put in a new motor in. will every thing mount up the same as the soch ta doch and will my ecu still work and my wiring??

yeah the motor should bolt up, use the same radiator but the wiring may be an issue. unless you know what you are doing i wouldn't put a different motor in.

If it not a replacement, you will have some modification to do, some wires may not work.

The SOHC and DOHC are mostly the same, in the first gen Neons, it was possible to swap between the two engines with only a PCM change, wiring was exactly the same, for the 99 model ?, check this site for helpful information
