9th Grade Honors Lit/U.S. History

Question

I am starting the 9th grade in 3 weeks and i got recommended for those two classes. I have heard that they are very hard and require a lot of studying (especially Literature) So i am just wondering from people that took these classes or know about them, what to expect and what type of work will be required

It all depends on your teacher and school district.  Each district will have its own guidelines, and each teacher flavors it with their own ideas.  I would recommend it, even if it is harder, because it does look better on your transcript for college.  And it just might be more interesting (or maybe not - depends on the teacher)
