  1. Well if you don't want me to do the problem for you, what the problem is basically saying is that you need to find how many miles per hour the train was traveling at. So if it traveled 75 miles in 55 minutes, how many would it travel in 60 minutes?

    Set up the equation like:

    75/55 = x/60

    Get ittt???

  2. Do this

    75/55= 1.3636

    multipy by 60

and your answer is 81.81 (82) MPH

  3. Set it up as a proportion to turn it into MPH then cross multiply and solve for x
