Question:

A $100 tip?

I love my personal fitness trainer. I trained with him for 3 months now I feel so good about myself.. His harsh workout made me turn from a good looking gal to a s**y beast (not to sound conceited - just very happy with my progress).

I'm moving away after a month, I was thinking of giving him a thank you card at out last workout session with $100 inside just to show my appreciation..

If you think that idea will offend him, is there another way I can show him my appreciation?

  1. Good idea, but perhaps put it in a gift card, more l;ike a gift.

  2. Trust me, 100 bucks is never offensive. He will love it - don't get a gift card - let him spend how he wants to...the way things are going, it will probably be put to gas!

  3. Congratulations, I know the feeling of achieving that fit; hope you keep your fitness up.  I don't think he will take offense rather he will be grateful: I agree put it in a gift card.

  4. I wish I could be your fitness trainer!  just joking...

I think that is a nice gesture and it'll be greatly appreciated by your coach.  Whether in cash, check or gift card, money is still a necessity and makes a great token of appreciation.

  5. yeah i agree a card and possibly a cool gift worth that much...like workout dvds or small exercise equipment

  6. Well, there's a lot of other ways I can think of, but $100 would be a great way to show your appreciation

  7. I have never heard of offending anybody with money.  It is a great way to show your appreciation.  I recently had a client stop by with a $50 gift certificate.  I didn't turn it down.

  8. There are other ways to show your appreciation other than money, right? Money is not always the best way to show you care. In fact, it show the least amount of creativity. You pay the guy to be your trainer so you already give him money. The thank you note is a good idea and think of some cool gift to give him instead of some cash.

  9. Normal is what a session costs.  Inside a thank you card would be greatly appreciated by anyone
