my laptop has been put away for about 6 months and before putting it away it was fine now the once you turn it on after a few minutes the screen will go black, but all the power lights stay on and the fan is sitll running like nothing is wrong. i checked all hybernation mode and power saver mode options i could find and it is still doing the same problem. any sugestions would be great.I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY TASHIBA A215-S7407. IT IS LESS THAN 10 MONTHS OLD AND HAS ALWAYS DONE THIS AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER. NOW IT IS MORE OFTEN. I USE IT EVERY DAY. I CONTACTED TASHIBA, AND THEY COULD NOT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS SAYING (BIG SURPRIZE). ANYWAY THEY SAID TO TAKE IT TO AN AUTHORIZED REPAIR SHOP IN MY AREA. I THINK ITS JUST AN INFERIOR LAPTOP!
