  1. Shouldn't have any bearing on either. They would have said that she cannot compete and honor roll is based on grades.

  2. Sorry, but regardless of athletic or honor roll status.  If she broke school rules then she needs to do her time.  It is up to the school as to what happens with the team.  For now-no practice.  If the coach has a rule about missing practice then she might be on the bench for awhile, but hopefully she'll learn her lesson.

  3. u mean go to track> No, because if u go on school grounds, for the whole county or state (or something like that) u WILL get arrested for trespassing. I s**t u not. She can go back to track after she's done with her suspension. For if they are gonna let still be on track, yea, she just can't hold student office. Still can participate in sports.

getting suspended for arguing with someone? wow, that's more retarded then what i got suspended for last year: pushing somebody in the middle of class.

  4. She was arguing but it wasn't her fault? I doubt it. It takes two to argue. She probably won't be on the honor roll, and she can't go to practice for those three days. If there's a track meet, too bad, she can't run.

  5. Your daughter?  You and her need to talk and then set up a meeting at the school to discuss what happened and state her side.  Did the other student get iin trouble?

Honor roll is based on grades so as long as she keeps up her grades she should keep her honor roll status.  Different schools have different rules for sports.  Some will let you stay in the sport if suspended while others won't.  This is another topic to discuss with the school

  6. You can't argue with someone and not be at fault.  No one can make you argue.

As far as the honor roll, that is based off from grades.  As long as she doesn't have any test she should be OK.  If there are any "pop quizzes" or other activities, the teacher is suppose to give her 0's.

All of my HS sports had the same rule, get suspended, you were benched for the next game.  She will need to check with her coach to see what his/her rules are or if the school enforces something.  She may since she will be missing a few practices.  Even if the coach didn't bench me and my brothers for the suspension, my mom would of.

  7. That's weird, if we argue, all that happens is we get put in in-school-suspension for the rest of the day.

I've never been in an arguement, but I know people that have.

  8. notice how its never   our kids fault when they get disciplined a school? it takes 2 to argue, it wont effect her grades so she will still be on honor roll, maybe next time she will walk away instead of arguing.
