  1. coefficient of friction=frictional force/normal force

    normal force=weight=mass x gravity

    frictional force=force exerted

    coefficient of friction=force exerted/weight

    =50N/(mass x gravity)=50N/(15kg x 9.8m/s^2)=0.34

the coefficient of friction is dimensionless--no unit.
