If you are 19 (and USA citizen) on a flight going from the USA to Canada are they allowed to drink on the flight? What if they take a flight in Canada going to another city in Canada?

  1. you should be allowed to yes. I believe the drinking age in Canada is actually 18. I know on flights to Europe I personally can order drinks (USA citizen) under age. Most other countries have much younger drinking ages than America.

  2. if the offer to you take it. i was flying in first class not so long ago and i was 18 and they offered to me so i took it. they wont b asking you for id. enjoy your flight

  3. If you are flying with Canada based airline company then yes, US - no.

  4. you should be able to.

legal drinking age in canada is 19, so anywhere you go, by land or sea, the drinking age will be 19.

  5. Maybe, but i think is best if you (or whoever you are talking about) waited until you landed in Canada to drink. That way, you will get a drink and you cant get in trouble.

An airline might have to abide by the rules of its home country and its host country (ie. United Airlines is an US airline, so United might not be allowed to serve drinks to 19 year olds while in flight to Canada or UK because its registered country, US doesnt allow alcohol to be served to people under 21) You should ask the airline about this for a better answer.

  6. A flight attendent once told me that their is technically no drinking age on international flights. At least not one that is enforced, and even so the drinking age in Canada is either 18 or 19 depending on where you are. So you should have no problem whatsoever.

  7. In Canada sure...Since the legal age isn't 21 like the states. But in the states, no. They'd card you.
