  1. I'm sure she is trying to be independent if she is like my daughter. She should be communicating with simple sentences now, if not detailed senteces. Also, she may be potty-trained or working on it. I like this website and they can email you updates on your kids development.

  2. take her to sunday school and let her make friends then you can see the kids play and what other 2 years old do! good luck

  3. I have a 2 1/2 daughter.  She's in speech therapy, so I can't give you advice on the talking.  She can:

    jump

    run

    throw objects

follow simple directions - "can you put that in the garbage can? No, not that one, the one in the kitchen."

    imitates alot

    climb

    sleep in her toddler bed

    drink from a cup

    use a spoon.

There's so many more other important ones.  My brain hurts...

  4. My daughter was really advanced at that age. She talked like a 4 year old. I noticed that my twin boys moved much slower than she. BUt like you say kids move at there own pace. I have a godchild that didn't start growing teeth until about 10 months, she didn't start talking very early maybe like 4 years old we could really understand sentences, but now she is a whipper-snapper. Now in 4th grade and is a straight A student. So what ever the case maybe I wouldn't worry, but just spend time enjoying HER.

  5. My stepdaughter likes to do everything her 5 1/2 year old sister does.  She also likes playing with her play kitchen, and she possessive too.

She talks, better and better everyday.  She can be mean, but if you get onto her about, she'll make it right.  Shes sweet and sour.  Shes awesome.  LOL

  6. Throwing tantrums at this age! Stringing together basic sentences. Being inquisitive and wanting to be independent (tying shoelaces, pouring there own drinks)

This site gives some good information. I am not gonna say what my Daughter did because it won't be the same as yours. Every child is different.
