  1. P = EI = E^2/R   (Power formula + Ohm's law)

    E = sqrt(PR) = sqrt (1/2 * 2200) = 33.17 v.

    (33 v. is close enough given the tolerance of resisters etc.)

  2. P=I*E

    E=IR

    I=E/R

    P=E^2/R

    E^2=PR

    You are correct.
