A 'Twirly Whirly' flower?

Question

I would like to know if this is an actual flower. My daughter and I saw this flower on Kai-lan. You spin it in your palms and it flies! Is there really such a flower?? I would love to grow some.

Wow, that jogged a few old memory cells. Several flowers will work but Shasta Daisies are the ones my grandmother showed me.  RScott
