A's or Rays Mid-Season Pick Up?

Question

Who do you think will pick up Craig Monroe, the A's or Rays, or will the Twins send him to AAA?? The Rays & A's could both use him, probably as a starter, what do you think?

I can see the Rays taking a flyer on him, it wouldn't surprise me for them to use him as a DH or something.  Except with Rocco Baldelli coming off the DL they have a lot of OF's and Carlos Pena at 1B, doesn't leave a whole lot of positions for Monroe to play.

A's have sort of called it quits for the season so the only pickups or trades they'll make from here on out will be for prospects.

The Rays won't because Baldelli is coming back unless he has a setback.
